Tenbridge Charity Golf Day 2002
In October 2002, Tenbridge organised its first charity golf day at the Beijing Counrty Club in Shunyi, with all proceeds going to the Wolong Sleeping Dragon Primary School Project.
This school was established by Doreen Huang of UNESCO, as a project to educate children from families whose annual per capita income is RMB 450 or less. Wolong is a remote village in the impoverished mountain region of Shidu in Hebei province. Thanks to this project, local children are now able to receive basic primary education.
